Key responsibilities

• Be responsible for the restaurant’s service, both hands-on and in a supervisory role.
• Guide our customers by explaining them our meals and restaurant’s philosophy.
• Support and mentor the Front of House staff, ensuring their growth and development within the team.
• Manage phone calls and chat messages to support potential customers in reaching us.
• Ensure smooth daily operations by collaborating with the kitchen team.
• Keep the dining room clean and tidy, to offer a cozy and welcoming environment.
• Lead and/or conduct free food sampling, to engage and attract restaurant clients.
• Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations, keeping the dining room safe and compliant.
• Occasionally deliver our proprietary plant-based meat to our client restaurants in Antwerp.

Opportunities

• Propose and test new ideas that enhance the dining room’s workflow and service quality.
• Contribute to content creation for our online presence in ideation, definition and execution.
• Contribute to menu development by bringing creative, actionable drinks or recipe ideas to life.

Your profile

• 2+ years of experience as Waiter, Head Waiter, or in a similar role.
• You are eligible to legally work in Antwerp.
• You have sharp attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
• You have the enthusiasm to thrive in a startup setting, where flexibility and adaptability are key.
• You have a collaborative mindset and are willing to work as a part of a team.
• You have the ability to balance hard work with a sense of fun, knowing when to push and to enjoy the moment.
• You are genuinely interested in exploring and evolving within the role.
• Fluent English is required, and Dutch is a nice-to-have.
